Welcome to Southern Area Behavioral Healthcare

Southern Area Behavioral Healthcare (SABHC) in partnership with a nationally recognized behavioral health managed care organization is contracted to provide urgent and emergent psychiatric care services to individuals residing in Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Hunt, Navarro, Kaufman and Rockwall counties.

Southern Area Behavioral Healthcare (SABHC) is a voluntary, drop-in urgent care service open to any individual in need of emergency psychiatric care. The Clinic is designed to stabilize individuals in a mental health or psychiatric crisis and then refer those individuals to an appropriate level of care for follow-up treatment.

To strengthen individuals, support families, and serve communities through coordination, and the provision of quality urgent and emergent psychiatric care services.
